BOOKING & PAYMENT
- Bookings can be made via www.renew-massage.uk or Fresha.com. You will receive an email immediately following your reservation to confirm your chosen date and time.
- For bookings via renew-massage.uk, a payment link will be sent within 48-hrs, requesting full payment for your selected treatment via secure bank link. This can be paid with a card or via bank transfer.
- For bookings via Fresha.com, payment is due immediately via the Fresha checkout.
PRIVACY – CLIENT CONSULTATION FORM
Along with the email containing your payment link you will be sent an online Confidential Consultation Form to complete at least 3 days in advance of your treatment.
- Client treatment details will not be discussed with anyone other than the client.
- Consultation Forms and treatment notes will be kept securely.
- Treatment notes will be taken before each treatment and kept on file.
- By signing the consultation form, clients give Renew Massage permission to hold records and data about them.
- Personal information will not be shared with any third parties.
- We are registered with the ICO. Our Data Protection Certificate No is: ZB552003
LIABILITY WAIVER
All clients are requested to sign the following liability waiver which forms part of the Consultation Form:
- I give my full consent to the therapist to perform my chosen massage treatment.
- I understand that the massage I receive is provided for the purpose of relaxation and relief of muscular tension.
- If I experience any pain or discomfort during this session, I will inform the therapist, so she may adjust accordingly.
- I understand that massage is not remedial and should therefore not be viewed as a substitute for medical examination, diagnosis or treatment and that I should see a doctor, chiropractor or other qualified medical specialist for any ailment that I am aware of.
- I understand that massage therapists are not qualified to perform spinal or skeletal adjustments, diagnose, prescribe, or treat any physical or mental illness, and that nothing said in the course of the session given should be construed as such.
- I understand that this is a professional massage treatment and any inappropriate behaviour, such as sexual innuendos and jokes, unsuitable or threatening language, conversation, or gestures will end in an immediate termination of the treatment and be reported.
- Either I or the therapist can terminate the treatment at any time.
- I affirm that I have stated all known medical conditions, risk factors and contraindications.
- If contraindications are present I have provided GP approval to the therapist OR I have made an informed decision that I do not feel GP approval is necessary and give my full consent for my chosen treatment, taking full responsibility for any side effects of such treatment.
- I release the massage therapist of any and all liability for any harm that may unintentionally occur during my treatment(s).
- I understand the importance of informing the therapist of all medical conditions and medications I am taking and will let the massage therapist know about any changes to these for future treatments.
- I have been given a chance to ask questions about the massage therapy session and my questions have been answered.
- My agreement to this statement is applicable to all future treatments with Renew Massage.
You will be asked to sign this waiver in person at your first treatment.
INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOUR
- Renew Massage offers strictly professional treatments.
- Requests for ‘additional’ services of a sexual nature will result in the immediate termination of the treatment.
- ANY inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.
- Anybody under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be asked to leave.
- I reserve the right to stop the treatment at any time.
- No refund will be issued where treatments have been terminated.
- ALL incidents will be reported to the Police and personal contact information shared.
TREATMENTS AT WILLEN LAKE
- Please arrive 5 minutes before your treatment time and wait in the designated area.
- Late arrivals will likely result in lost treatment time. Out of respect for other clients, we will not be able to continue the treatment outside of your booked treatment time.
- Please switch off your mobile phone so you can remain undistracted during your treatment.
- Failing to attend will be charged in full.
- More than one missed appointment may result in no further appointments being accepted.
- Please see our privacy policy for how we use your information.
MOBILE TREATMENTS
These can be requested by emailing renew-massage.uk. An additional charge for travel may be requested. You will be advised on the space required for the massage table and any other information in advance of your treatment. Treatments must be prepaid via a secure bank link and our standard Cancellation terms apply. See below. Mobile treatments are available for female clients only or when a female is present in the home. Mobile treatments are offered at our discretion.
CORPORATE ON-SITE TREATMENTS
Day rates will be provided on request by emailing renewmassage.mk@gmail.com or the contact form on renew-massage.uk. A tailored package will be discussed and agreed. Prepayment is required and our standard cancellation terms apply. Each employee will be required to complete a consultation form before their first treatment only.
PRICES & GIFT VOUCHERS
- The price of each session varies according to the type and duration of the therapy session you book.
- Prices are adjusted from time to time and the price you will be required to pay for a specific session will be determined by reference to the Treatment Prices in force at the date when that treatment is booked.
- A full price list including any special offers are available at renew-massage.uk
- Gift vouchers are non-refundable and are valid for 6 months from the purchase date.
- Gift vouchers will not be accepted after the expiry date and can only be used for the treatment purchased.
- Gift vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash, sold or transferred.
- Current offers cannot be applied with the redemption of a gift voucher and it is useable against full price treatments only.
- Gift vouchers will be sent 2nd Class Royal Mail. If required urgently you are welcome to upgrade to a faster service for the price difference.
FORCE MAJEURE
Every effort is made by the therapist to provide the service booked by the customer. Some circumstances beyond our control may prevent this. On these rare occasions an alternate date and time may be offered or a refund.
INDEMNITY
We are not a healthcare provider nor do we provide medical advice or medical treatment. References in Our Website and elsewhere to “Treatment” and “Therapy” or any similar terms do not refer to medical treatment or medical therapy. The information presented on www.renew-massage.uk is not intended to diagnose health problems or to take the place of professional medical care. Should you have a medical issue you should always consult with a qualified medical professional. All clients are required to complete an liability waiver before their treatment (see above)
CANCELLATION POLICY
- All treatments are prepaid in full.
- If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment please provide at least 24-hrs notice. You will be eligible for a full refund or rescheduled appointment in this instance.
- If a cancellation is made with less than 24-hrs notice, the full payment will be retained.
- If an appointment is rescheduled with less than 24-hrs notice a £10 late notice fee will be payable.
- Please be aware that we are strict on our 24 hour cancellation policy as this is our livelihood.
- You can contact us by phone, email or text. We hope this minimises cancellations and ‘no-shows’ and reinforces the professional nature of our business.
- Renew Massage has the right to cancel treatments without notice if the room or environment is unsuitable for the treatment to be provided, or if the therapist is taken ill or injured.
- Renew Massage has the right to cancel a treatment without notice if the client is intoxicated or inebriated
- Renew Massage will try to rearrange treatments to a new time/date within two weeks of the cancelled treatment where possible.
- Each case will be viewed on a case by case basis as we do appreciate life happens and we care for our clients!
